Just a few weeks after the Champions of Education Benefit, I once again found myself out in the Hamptons (Montauk to be exact), this time for a relaxed yet impressive event to celebrate the opening of Toms Shoes' new pop up store.
Toms is built on a simple yet powerful idea. For every pair of shoes you buy, another pair is given to a child in a developing country who would otherwise go barefoot. The event featured local artists customizing shoes for patrons as well as live music and assorted beach games. Toms founder Blake Mycoskie was in attendance and played host to Dylan's candy bar founder Dylan Lauren and Socailite/ Presidential niece Lauren Bush.
All in all this was a great way to spend a late summer evening away from the city!
